I read the section on the new V-model at Boeing with much interest.

However I must comment on your remark on the “classical” V-Model.

“The original āVā looks like a linear process ….”.

The V-Model does not reflect a linear process, but represents levels of abstraction in the system-design on the left-hand side and links it with the real-world system integration on the right-hand side, Iterations can occur on each level.

**However the Boeing Diamond model is certainly interesting.**
